Columbia Pictures
Despite sounding quite cynical, Columbia Pictures only seem to produces very successful box offices films, and there have been very few which have seemed to fail. They produced films across all genres, such as Animations (OPEN SEASON), Actions (DJANGO UNCHAINED), Comedies (CLICK), Thrillers (CASINO ROYALE) and Romance films (WHEN HARRY MET SALLY) However, I would imply that Columbia specialise in action films, as there have been a vast number of them:
1.Django Unchained
2.The Amazing Spiderman 1+2
3.In The Line Of Fire
4.Bad Boys 1+2
5.The legend of Zorro
6.Black Hawk Down
7.Striking distance
8.The Taking of Pelham 123
I think that Columbia Pictures a target audience between the ages of 18-30 who are male. This is because the majority of films they make is very action packed with lots of violence, swearing, of sexual nature, and usually involves very big actors such as Bruce Willis which the young adult/middle aged audiences would enjoy. Our film is targeting a similar audience to this, as its all about crime and mystery with professional killings involved. Similar films Columbia Pictures have made similar to our audience, are for example: CASINO ROYALE, LEON THE PROFESSIONAL AND STRIKING DISTANCE.
