Fatigue and Enthuiasm

We are scheduled to leave to go to our location at around 6pm on Tuesday 10th February. This is straight after the school day, so we may have the issue of being very tired. This may negatively affect our mood and opinions about going to film.

As a result, I am going to try and keep my enthusiasm high and try and uplift the other members of the group.

Potential Weather Issues

 Forecast for Tuesday 10th February

Here is the forecast for Tuesday 10th February. As we are filming at night time, the 3 degree forecast will potentially be an issue. We will need to wear lots of warm clothing to keep up our morale so we can make out shoot as productive as possible. Also, keeping the actors warm is a priority, as we need them to be comfortable so they can do their jobs properly.

Producing a Shooting Schedule

Producing a Shooting Schedule

Planning a schedule won't be a problem for us-we have got only 2 actors and we need them during the entire scene. Also, we don't have any other locations, just the car park, so we only need to organize the order in which we shoot our scenes, which will be in the scene outline. We will be at our location for around 4-6 hours.

Confirming Actors Availability

Unfortunately, both of our male actors we wanted to use we unable to do it on the day that we have been given to shoot. This was frustrating, but we have found a new actor and we are still happy with who we have. On top of this, the woman we wanted was also unavailable and so too was our backup. So similarly to the male actors, we have chosen a different woman to be in it. They have both confirmed that they are available on the day of the shoot.

Here is a picture of me asking for confirmation:

Here is confirmation from our male actor Mike:

Here is the confirmation email in which Theresa has confirmed she can take part in our shoot.

Designing Sets

We currently have no plans to build anything to use in our set. However, what we must take into account is the placement of the cars, which is a crucial part of our set design. For example, we want to have tracking shots of the woman walking into the car park from an elevator, so we must place a car in a certain to do this.

Confirming Locations

It is confirmed that the car park is situated in Guildford so it is reasonably close to our school. We will get there on the day by using school transportation via a minibus.

We have ultimately chosen this location to shoot our thriller as it can be very effective creating tension and suspense if the right camera work is done. Multistory car parks at times can also be quite dangerous and scary late at night, which we hope to reflect in our thriller.
